POP UP PURGE & THRIFT #2

September 16, 2017, 10:00am - September 16, 2017, 4:00pm

BYOB - BRING YOUR OWN BAG RENT A TABLE TO SELL YOUR GOODIES- $10 As a part of living consciously I believe that getting rid of the unnecessary (purging) and overall minimising is important but it can also be difficult. We all have items that we don't want to let go of as we think they hold value, are irriplaceable or we just don't have the time/patience to actually sift through them. Through my personal yoga practice I have been taught to do just these things with my body(work with less in my practice & let go of any tension in my body so that i can move freely) but when it comes to 'stuff' it has been a struggle up until NOW. The first step required a wanted change in my mindset, actions, and habits. But I've also been forced to purge and make some at home adjustments as baby Kinetix is coming soon & I only want he/she to come into a space that has positive energy & less 'stuff". In order to achieve this I've had to purge, cleanse & reevaluate my whole living space which has made me feel so much lighter, focused & other amazing feelings πŸ™‚ So what is minimalism? If I had to sum it up, I would say, Minimalism is a tool to rid yourself of excess 'stuff' in favour so that you can focus on what’s important. Minimalism has helped me to eliminate discontent, Reclaim my time, live in the moment, pursue my passions, experience real freedom, create more & consume less, focus on my health, grow as an individual & contribute in other areas than myself. Join me on this journey as I move forward in happiness through life and not through 'stuff' by determining what is necessary and what isn't! BRING YOUR GOODIES OR JUST POP BY WITH A BAG!! -Love Kallie x "The yogi reduces his physical needs to the minimum, believing that if he gathers things he does not really need, he is a thief." "One should not hoard or collect things one does not require immediately.... The yogi feels that the collection or hoarding of things implies a lack of faith in himself to provide for his future."
